Blyth Daylong

Mr. Daylong has over 20 years of experience working in the performing arts.  A graduate of the Stage Management program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, he has worked closely with artists in theatre, music, dance and film.  His past credits include working as the tour manager and technical director for a modern dance company tour of Europe, being the assistant director for a production of the opera The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, working as associate producer for several made for television movies, spending a summer working at the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and serving on the Board of Directors at the Attic Theater in Wisconsin.  Blyth worked for a number of years at the American Film Institute Conservatory as a member of their production team.  Recently, he was employed at the University of Miami where he was an assistant dean in the School of Communication.  In addition to his duties as assistant dean, he ran the Bill Cosford Cinema where he significantly increased the amount of programming and was instrumental in adding cultural programming to their offerings.  While in Miami, he served on the juries for the Brazilian International Film Festival and the Miami International Film Festival.

Gabriel Vargas

Mr. Vargas joined Adelphi University in 2013 with knowledge in many areas of the performing arts; specifically technical theater. Graduating with his B.F.A. in Theatrical Production and Design with a concentration in Sound from LIU, C.W. Post, he moved on to become the Production Coordinator and Head Audio at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. There he worked for eight years in all kinds of genres; running shows from dance to jazz to orchestras to touring Broadway. He was also the sound designer for the Post Theater Company, the resident theater company at LIU, C.W. Post. He continued to hone his skills working with Local 1 on Broadway, The Public Theater in NYC, Local 340 and various production companies on Long Island.

Jessica L. Dulberg

Ms. Dulberg joined Adelphi in June 2008, and comes to the University and Performing Arts Center with 10 years of successful experience as a box office administrator at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York. Beyond having extensive experience in such areas as staff management and training, the management of ticket and group sales, and successfully running subscription sales campaigns, she brings a broad knowledge of the Long Island arts scene and communities. Ms. Dulberg holds a B.A. in English from Long Island University (C.W. Post). 

Scott Zotto
Assistant Managing Director

As the Assistant Managing Director, Mr. Zotto assists the Executive Director with production management and marketing for all productions within the Performing Arts Center. He is pleased to return to his alma mater. For the past nine years, he has gained professional production, directorial and design experience both on Long Island and New York City. He holds a B.F.A. in Performance Studies from Adelphi University and an M.S.W. from the Adelphi University School of Social Work.

David Groom

Mr. Groom has a broad range of theater experience. He was facilities director at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, New York; and house manager Off-Broadway at the Second Stage, Minetta Lane, Union Square and McGinn-Cazale theaters. Dave has taught acting and directing in both public and private schools in New York City, and as an adjunct professor at the College of Staten Island. Teaching artist credits include the Guggenheim Museum, Theater for a New Audience, STARRR Drama and the N.Y.C. Department of Education. Dave was also assistant director with the LAByrinth Theater Company on two world premieres at the Public Theater. He holds a B.A. in Acting from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and an M.F.A. in Directing from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (C.C.M.).
